Kelvin (K)
Kelvin K (without degree symbol) is the SI base unit for thermodynamic temperature. The starting point of the Kelvin scale (0 K) is the absolute zero measured as 273.15 °C, i.e. there are no negative temperatures on the Kelvin scale. The magnitude of increments on the Kelvin scale corresponds to the graduation of the Celsius scale therefore it is valid: 1 K ≙ 1 °C.
