Mechanical load

Mechanical loads are existent when external forces have an impact on an object. These forces can be generated by tension, pressure, shear, bending, torsion, etc. Mechanical load can be punctual, distributed (line, area, volume), combined (tension/compression), static (constant), and dynamic (pulsating/shock-type), etc.
